Certification Engineers International Ltd.(A Govt. India Undertaking and a wholly owned subsidiary of Engineers India Limited) undertakes activities related to Certification Re-certification, Safety Audits and HSE Management Systems for Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas facilities. It also undertakes Third Party Inspection of materials, high end technology equipment and installations in the hydrocarbon, Cross country Pipelines, Infrastructure, Railways, Smart Cities, Solar Energy, Nuclear Energy, Defence Sectors, Nuclear Submarine & Warship and Other quality sensitive sectors of the Industry.

The Company was carved out of Engineers India Certification Agency (EICA),which had been carrying out Certification activities as a Division of EIL Since 1984. More than 60 No. Offshore Oil & Gas Platforms and 2500 KM. Length of subsea pipelines were certified by EICA. After Incorporation of Certification Engineers International Limited (CEIL) as a separate company on 26th Oct 1994, it has completed certification of 44 major offshore process and well platforms, Certification of 4 process platforms, laying of about 3000 Km, subsea pipelines, 92 KM of subsea cable and about 3000 KM cross country pipelines for transportation of Petroleum Products and Natural Gas. Further, CEIL has also undertaken inspection of more than 1500 KM of water Pipelines around the country, Third Party Inspection of several Infrastructure Projects like Housing, roads, bridges, flyovers, indoor stadium, outdoor stadium, sewerage treatment plants, water treatment plants, drinking water distribution and also solid waste management for various state governments/corporations are being undertaken.
